Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club with Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez Start: 8:30 am Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club - Tuesday, April 29, 8:30 - 10:00 AM, David's Cafe II, 1654 Meridian Ave., Miami Beach. Current issues of great interest sure to be addressed are the "Mega-Plan" and the recent county commission approval of development outside of the Urban Development Boundary. Mayor Alvarez supports the first and opposes the second. This project is co-sponsored by the Division of Complementary and Alternative Medicine and the Medical Wellness Center. The event will be open to medical students, faculty, and interested community leaders.
